The supercharger impeller blade inlet angle has been revised, resulting in smoother airflow under low-flow conditions at lower engine speeds, reducing intake air temp and suppressing knocking.

The impeller's complex shape is 3D machined from forged aluminum for high precision and durability. The impeller spins at 9.2x the crankshaft speed, reaching nearly 130,000 rpm and pumping over 52.8-gal (200 L) of air per second into the engine.

The engine has been completely redesigned for 2027. The pistons, cylinder head, cylinder, crankshaft, camshafts, throttle bodies, and the exhaust system are new. Clutch spring and gear ratios are revised, and engine tuning and final gearing now deliver a stronger low- to mid-range torque feel. The result is an engine that delivers powerful acceleration from any rpm.

The balanced supercharged engine delivers both exhilarating acceleration and superb fuel efficiency. The key to achieving this balance was increasing the engine’s thermal efficiency by utilizing a high compression ratio. Designed for high-performance racing engines, the premium dog-ring transmission allows for smooth, precise, quick shifting. Rather than shifting gears into place, the gears in this configuration stay in place, with the lightweight dog rings moving to engage the gears. A high-quality hydraulic Assist & Slipper Clutch minimizes wheel chatter caused by rapid downshifting and self-adjusts to ensure consistent performance and smooth actuation.

A new, lightweight 4-into-1 exhaust system with optimized pipe diameters and revised exhaust layout is complemented by a compact silencer, resulting in a lighter, more compact exhaust system. The compact layout, black finish of the silencer body, and buff-polished heat guard add to the overall aggressive appearance of the Ninja H2® CARBON ABS.

The Ninja H2® CARBON ABS hypersport motorcycle utilizes Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS) technology and comes equipped with new, 330mm semi-floating front disc brakes gripped by high-spec Brembo Hypure calipers. Featuring a distinctive asymmetrical design, the Hypure calipers are not only lightweight, but also deliver excellent thermal conductivity to help suppress fade even under high load. The result is consistent braking performance on the street and track. A Brembo radial-pump master cylinder and reservoir minimize ineffective stroke, so when brakes are needed, they respond instantly.

The lightweight aluminum forged wheels were designed specifically for the Ninja H2® CARBON ABS and were created using analysis from Kawasaki’s racing efforts. Star-pattern 5-spoke wheels offer optimum rigidity for high-power performance. Bridgestone Battlax RS11 sport tires contribute to sharp handling.

New, hydrographic-printed wheel decal showcases the Ninja® logo and adds a premium visual presence to the striking H2® image.

The updated 3-mode Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM) allows you to more easily access the intense, supercharged acceleration during launch, providing unmatched acceleration from a stop by electronically controlling engine output to minimize rear wheel-slip and front-end lift. KLCM also allows you to launch from a stop with the throttle held wide open. After use, the system cannot be reactivated for 150 seconds to allow for clutch cooling.

A number of new advanced rider support technologies are now available. Integrated Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Rain, Rider - manual), which link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) with Power Mode selection, allow you to quickly and easily adapt to changing riding conditions.

Kawasaki TRaction Control features 5 new selectable modes for a wider range of conditions. The system can also be turned off.

Mode 1 – Offers the lowest level of intervention.
Mode 2 – Retains a sporty character while applying intervention earlier than Mode 1.
Mode 3 – Offers a balance between acceleration performance and rider reassurance.
Mode 4 – Facilitates smooth riding on low-grip surfaces.
Mode 5 – Offers the highest level of intervention for high-level reassurance in rainy or wet conditions.

New handle switches allow you to control advanced rider technologies directly from the handlebars. The left-hand switch supports Electronic Cruise Control, display changes, and setting adjustments, while the right-hand switch provides access to the vehicle settings menu.

Newly added grip heaters offer extra comfort during cold-riding conditions.

The lightweight trellis frame balances stiffness and flexibility, providing necessary strength to harness the incredible power of the supercharged engine and meet the performance requirements of the Nina H2®R chassis.

With an even stronger metallic appearance and increased brilliance, the special topcoat on all non-carbon bodywork parts allows certain types of scratches to repair themselves, enabling the paint to maintain its high-quality finish through normal wear and tear*. Self-healing is achieved through microscopic soft and hard segments within the topcoat, working like a chemical spring that creates a trampoline effect to absorb impacts.

New aviation-inspired TFT (thin-film transistor) full-color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance and visibility. The screen’s background color is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.

The new instrumentation combines an analog tachometer with a high-resolution full-color TFT display that now offers 2 selectable display types. Type 1 features a highly legible layout inspired by the silhouette of the air ducts, while Type 2 features enhanced boost and aviation-inspired lean/attitude displays that allow you to view supercharger status and machine attitude.

Display functions include: digital speedometer, gear position indicator, shift-up indicator, Riding Mode indicator, KTRC indicator, Power Mode indicator; KQS, KLCM on/off, KTRC off icons; Electric Cruise Control; coolant temperature, low fuel warning, odometer; dual trip meters, current and average mileage, fuel consumption, average speed, total time, and battery voltage (Type 1 display); clock (Type 1 display); Economical Riding Indicator (Type 1 display); Kawasaki service reminder; smartphone call and mail notices, app connected indicator; and warning display and service messages. The Type 1 display also includes digital boost temperature, boost pressure (% and digital), and max lean angle indicator. The Type 2 display also includes boost pressure (graphic), lean and pitch angle (graphic).

Delivering maximum illumination and a sharp, high-tech look, the all-LED lighting package spans every element, including the turn signals and license plate light.
