Crankcase reed-valve intake is managed by an advanced fuel-injection system. A 39mm throttle body is fed by dual injectors—one upstream, one downstream. At low RPM, only the downstream injector operates, enabling precise fueling for low-speed control and ground-gripping traction even when the throttle is barely open. The upstream injector joins in at a higher RPM, enabling powerful acceleration and high-revving excitement reminiscent of a classic 2-stroke.

The innovative exhaust valve system of the KX™327 is tuned to deliver strong torque from ultra-low RPM and linear power across the entire range. The cutting-edge exhaust valve system, designed exclusively by Kawasaki for the 327cc 2-stroke, dynamically adjusts exhaust port timing according to engine speed and throttle position to produce crisp, responsive torque at every speed.

With performance focused on motocross, the smooth shifting close-ratio 5-speed transmission of the KX™327 makes it easier to stay within the powerband.

A hydraulic clutch offers direct action and consistent performance even as the clutch heats up. The use of a coned-disc spring enables a light pull at the lever and a wider clutch engagement range.

Being able to restart your engine quickly after a stall can mean the difference between staying in the lead and falling behind the pack. A compact and lightweight Li-ion battery powers reliable push-button starting.

The use of pre-mix lubrication eliminates the need for a separate oil injection system. Retaining the tried-and-true method of classic 2-stroke lubrication keeps things simple and lightweight.

High-performance Nissin brake calipers and hydraulics deliver premium stopping power on the KX™327 motorcycle. A 270mm front petal disc and 240mm rear petal disc ensure the confidence of control.

Fine-tune your fit aboard the KX™327 with ERGO-FIT® adjustable components. Footpegs feature two adjustable positions to accommodate a range of riders. Two mounting points in the triple clamp and reversible bar mounts add up to four different possible handlebar positions, ideal for dialing in comfort and control for preference or riding conditions.

The athletic look of the KX™327 reflects a sleek, modern race machine that is unmistakably Kawasaki. Slim bodywork and a streamlined finish enable seamless rider movement. A slip-resistant contoured seat helps riders remain in control while the Renthal Fatbar handlebar, ODI lock-on grips, wide, lightweight footpegs add to the quality finish.

A quick-release side cover provides easy access to the airbox with no tools. A large opening means air filter changes are fast and easy.

The KX™327 rides on Excel rims and Dunlop tires. Machined hubs fortify the wheels (21-in front/19-in rear) and give a premium appearance.

The KX™327 can connect to your smartphone wirelessly through a communication unit mounted behind the front number plate. Combined with information from a GPS unit mounted on the front fender, data can combine with off-road track maps for an entirely new suite of in-app functions.

Using the smartphone application RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™2, riders can now record trip logs with GPS, and create off-road track maps (based on Google Map satellite images). The app can track lap times and riders can review speed, gear position, and engine RPM. Engine telemetry can be monitored in real time, including engine intake temperature and coolant temperature. Engine hour meter and maintenance reminders are included.

Rear suspension features the New Uni-Trak® rear suspension system designed to optimize long-travel performance of the fully adjustable KYB rear shock. Internal valving and adjusters are tuned for motocross competition with lightweight agility and straight-line composure you expect from a KX™ motorcycle.
