The KLR®650 S motorcycle features a seat height of 32.1-in versus 34.3-in on the KLR®650 motorcycle. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness, and optimized suspension settings makes it easier to reach the ground while retaining excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort.

Increase your riding comfort by combatting wind and weather with the tall 2-position adjustable windshield. The optimized handlebar and footpeg positions with rubber mounts provide a relaxed riding position with low engine vibration for maximum comfort. For long rides, you'll enjoy the rubber-dampened comfort seat with a tapered shape and supple seat cover for maximum bump absorption and ride comfort.
Pack all your essentials with the large aluminum rear carrier and available accessory side and top cases complete with a convenient 1-key system. Generous generator capacity offers 80 watts of power with an output of 26 amps, to meet the power needs of grip heaters, fog lamps, and other electrical accessories, perfect for your next extended adventure.

The KLR®650 S motorcycle is built off of the reputable and reliable KLR®650 motorcycle platform and carries over all of the same great features but offers a lower seat height. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness, and optimized suspension settings makes it easier to reach the ground while retaining excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort. Accompanying the reduced seat height is an increased shifter-to-footpeg distance, and shorter side stand.
